About our partner: Taysha Gene Therapies was founded in partnership with The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UT Southwestern) to develop and commercialize transformative gene therapy treatments. Taysha strives to develop and commercialize gene therapy treatments.

Taysha has partnered with AllStripes to understand the natural history of SURF1 Leigh syndrome, including: age of onset, severity of disease, range of symptoms and progression, how symptoms are managed, and healthcare utilization.

Study goal

These findings may contribute to Taysha's long term goal of helping treat SURF1 Leigh Syndrome, including working towards a potential gene therapy for SURF1 Leigh syndrome.
